What is the schedule?

The Ballet Getaway is designed to weave together focused ballet training with moments of relaxation and discovery. Training sessions include conditioning, technique classes, pointe work, variations, in-depth skill work, and a memorable final performance.

Between classes, youโ€™ll enjoy time for rest and connection, whether itโ€™s unwinding in the serene atmosphere of the villa, sharing group activities and board games, or taking hikes through Sedonaโ€™s landscapes.

To make the experience even more unique, you can look forward to special surprises thoughtfully prepared to spark joy and bring the group even closer together.

Jordan London is more than just a teacher, she is your guide on this unforgettable ballet getaway.

Graduated from the Houston Ballet Academy, Jordan began her professional dance career in the Estonian National Ballet where she performed a variety of soloists and principal roles.

She transitioned to a ballet teacher in 2023 and is now known for her detailed and supportive teaching style.

Jordan London will help you refine your technique, strength, and deepen the joy in your ballet practice.

Are there drop-in classes for local students? +
No, this experience is reserved only for the people attending the full getaway.
What is the price? +
The full Sedona Ballet Getaway experience is $2495, and covers ballet classes, your accommodation, food for the entire stay, transport to and from the studio, extra activities and more.
Where will the classes take place? +
The classes will take place at the Sedona Dance Academy. Transport will be provided from the accommodation to the studio.
Who can attend? +
This retreat is designed for 18+ female dancers of all levels, from beginner to advanced.
What should I bring with me? +
Please bring your ballet attire (leotards, tights, ballet shoes, pointe shoes, etc.), comfortable clothing for outdoor activities, swimsuit/bikini, a water bottle, sunscreen, and any personal items you might need. Detailed packing lists will be sent closer to the getaway date.
Will meals be provided? +
Yes! Weโ€™ll provide delicious home-cooked meals throughout the retreat. Special dietary requests will be accommodated as best as possible. Please notify us in advance of any food allergies.
Where will I be staying? +
The retreat is held at the Sedona Nest, a beautifully renovated log home with stunning views of the red rocks. First 9 people to book will be able to stay at the Nest, while others will stay at a nearby Airbnb called The Shack, with transport provided to and from the Nest daily.
How do I get to the getaway? +
The getaway location is in Sedona, Arizona. The nearest airport is Sedona Airport (SEZ), but we also recommend flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) and taking the 2-hour shuttle bus.
Can I come alone? +
Absolutely! Most of our attendees come solo and find it an incredibly enriching experience. It's a wonderful opportunity to make meaningful connections with fellow ballet lovers.
What happens if I have to cancel? +
Once your payment is completed, your spot is secured and non-refundable. However, in cases of injury, illness, or personal emergencies, we can offer a full refund minus the payment provider fee (around 2%).
Are there any age restrictions? +
The retreat is for adult dancers (18+). There is no upper age limitโ€”whether youโ€™re a young adult or seasoned dancer, you'll feel right at home!
What kind of ballet training will be offered? +
We provide a range of ballet classes, rep and variation workshops, pointe work (for those who practice pointe), and cross-training for strength and flexibility.
Do I need to have experience in pointe work? +
No, but it is recommended. If you don't have experience on pointe, you can still complete the class on flat.
Can I bring a friend or partner who isnโ€™t dancing? +
Sadly no, our places are very limited and we can't accommodate everyone. Hence, we limit it to dancers.
How can I book my spot? +
You can book your spot by paying the deposit fee ($1000). Once done, you'll receive a registration form. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early booking to secure your spot.
Do I have to audition? +
No, but you will be asked to attach a video of yourself dancing in the registration form once the deposit payment is made so that Jordan London can best curate the classes.
